The British
Edutrust Foundation (EDUTRUST) is a not for
profit organisation (Registered charity number:
1121761), which has been established
to promote educational excellence in schools.
It will do this by working in partnership with
individual schools, their local communities and
wider stakeholders under the auspices of the
Government’s Academies Programme. These 'Centres
of Excellence' will be established in a number
of England's inner cities.
The focus of Edutrust is and will always be
young people. We are committed to improving
significantly, their aspirations, learning,
achievement and personal development,
irrespective of of ability, faith or race. Our
academies will be inclusive and will reflect the
multi-racial, multi-faith and multi-cultural
nature of 21st century Britain.
The ethos and values of Edutrust will support
and develop a culture where students' individual
faith and cultural requirements are recognised,
respected and celebrated, thereby fostering the
tolerance and respect for others which will lead
to greater community cohesion.
