The Ethnic Minority Foundation (EMF)
EMF is a national registered charity created to provide support for Britain’s minority ethnic communities. EMF’s main objective is to address prevailing socio-economic inequalities, poverty and social exclusion disproportionately affecting the country’s minority ethnic and marginalised communities. EMF provides grants to voluntary sector agencies and community groups.

Habib Bank AG Zurich is committed to seeking ways of playing a part in the wider community and in particular to support Edutrust’s aims of assisting communities through the provision of excellence in education. The Habib Family has a firm philosophy of contributing back into the communities in which they work. The Habib Family is currently working with Cambridge University contributing funding towards the construction of the Faculty of Divinity and their fully-fledged participation in the India and Pakistan rooms at The Oval are two recent examples of their UK activities.
The Pears Foundation was established as The Pears Family Charitable Foundation in 1991. It has grown into a major supporter of charitable causes across the UK and internationally, committing over £20 million in the last five years. The Foundation works in the areas of Community and Education, Disability and Health, Human and Civil Rights, International Development and Israel Projects The Pears Foundation supports projects helping to promote a diverse yet inclusive British society.
In the UK the Bestway Foundation is a generous supporter of Age Concern, The Princes Trust, The National Grocers Benevolent Fund, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, Cancer Research, John Kelly Technology Colleges/Schools, The Oval Trust and University of Strathclyde Foundation amongst others. These charitable contributions are in addition to the donations made to various student bodies in Universities and Colleges all over Britain. In the last decade Bestway Foundation has invested in over two dozen inner city schools in the UK as part of the British Government’s Specialist Schools & Academies Programme. The Foundation’s yearly fundraiser event, ‘The Ascot Charity Race Day’, has over the years raised funds for various charitable causes such as Save the Children’s Fund and Crimestoppers. Since its establishment, the Bestway Group has donated in excess of £8 million to assist the Foundation in its charitable activities geared towards the health and education sectors.
