Appointment of Principal – Shenley Court Academy.
Thank you for showing an interest in the post of Principal of the Shenley Court Academy. The Academy sponsor wants to proceed to recruit to the post of Principal for the Academy in time to ensure that the person appointed can be released from their current post to start as Principal Designate on 1 September 2008.
In order to deliver the vision for the Academy, Edutrust will need to appoint an outstanding school and community leader who will not only share our enthusiasm, aspirations and commitment but also bring to the post a proven track record of successful organisational change and development. I would like to remind you that the closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 5 March 2008 and we intend to shortlist on 7 March 2008. The selection process will take place on 13 and 14 March 2008. As the application form indicates you are asked to provide information supporting your application for this post limiting yourself to a maximum of three sides of A4. You are asked to give clear, identifiable examples, demonstrating how you meet the criteria indicated on the Person Specification.
